Deep Eddy invests in new distillery

Austin, Texas-based Deep Eddy Vodka, a division of Heaven Hill Brands, announced its expansion with the purchase of a 194,000-square-foot facility located just outside of the Austin city limits in Buda, Texas. The company will build a new distillery on site, adding production capacity to the current Deep Eddy Vodka distillery in Dripping Springs, Texas, it says. The two facilities will operate together, enabling the company to keep up with its rapidly growing demand and increase production capacity to more than 5 million cases a year, it adds.
