Byron Anderson: For more than 20 years, Byron Anderson was a reference librarian before moving into administration at Northern Illinois University Libraries, serving currently as Acting Associate Dean for Public Services. His research interests revolve around technology and libraries, copyright, and the importance of small press publications in libraries. He is the author and compiler of Alternative Publishers of Books in North America, now in its 6th edition from Library Juice Press. Since 1996, he has authored the Electronic Roundup column in Behavioral and Social Sciences Librarian. He earned both an MA in History and MLS degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
