San Diego AWIS-San Diego holds Biennial Scholarship Gala

On May 3,2012, AWIS-San Diego chapter (AWIS-SD) held a Scholarship Gala at the La Jolla Women's Club in La Jolla, CA. Biannually, the AWIS-SD Scholarship Committee selects local as- piring women scientists from more than one hundred applicants to receive $1000 academic scholarships. The Scholarship Gala is held in their honor.
