One company with a wide range of experience in this area is Barcelona-based Hamili Industries, a creative studio partnership composed of directors, inventors and mixed-media artists that has provided AV effects for British DJ and electronic music producer, Floating Points' music videos and live shows amongst others. As Anna Diaz, founder and creative director at Hamill Industries, explains, she and her team develop visual experiences not onLy through images, but also through other elements such as light, smoke, or water, allowing them to 'expand perception and allow the audience to experience shows in a more tangible way.' "Our creations vary from visuals that react to live music and vice versa, to music videos and art installations. We also work for commercials -directing pieces, or even developing practical effects. I guess our passion is to develop visual concepts that enabLe us to mix analogic processes with digital developments, so we can merge technologies and inventions that enable us to transcend the screen and create audio visual spectacles that feel more tangible, more synesthetic," she says.
