Employment Practices liability Insurance provides protection for an employer against claims made by employees, former employees, or potential employees. It provides coverage for allegations of discrimination (age, sex, race, disability, etc.), wrongful termination of employment, harassment of any kind, and other employment-related allegations. Here is the second part of this two-part series (part one is in July-August 2011). In order to protect your company, handling employee problems correctly and consistently is important. Establish regular communications with employees and make sure you can clearly and consistently explain, verbally and in writing, what is expected of them. Strive to be fair and accurate in evaluating performance or behavior.
