Death of Patricia Brown

Patricia Brown, matriarch of Brown Brothers Milawa Vineyard, passed away on 29 September aged 89. She is survived by three sons, 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her death follows that of her husband, John Charles Brown, on 7 May. Patricia's contribution to the success of Brown Brothers over 65 years was recognised with the release in 2003 of a flagship range of wines named 'Patricia'. Brown Brothers CEO Ross Brown said his mother was much loved by all of the staff. She treated them as part of her own family, bringing them bags of lemons when they were ill and was always interested in their families' wellbeing.
