Growing grapes and marketshare in China

摘要

During a presentation I gave at a field day in Tasmania about my recent visit to China, a member of the audience asked me if I thought China might ever compete seriously with Australia for wine export markets. This is an interesting question. Current statistics show China listed as number five in the world in terms of grape production including table and drying grapes, following Italy, France, USA and Spain. Australia is number 10.
