Riesling comes of age

Widely acclaimed as Australia's premier Riesling maker, Jeffrey Grosset this year marked the 30th vintage of his Springvale and Polish Hill Rieslings, made from grapes grown in the Clare Valley's sub-regions of Watervale and Polish Hill River, respectively. Grosset generously leant his time to Wine Industry Journal editor Lauren Jones to talk about the history of Riesling in the local industry and convey his thoughts about its new reputation as a high quality varietal.
