Alternatives to the traditional 750ml glass bottle are increasing in prevalence in many wine markets around the world. However, there are some differences between markets and trends within them. Both cost and environmental concerns are driving this change. Using Australia, the UK and the US as case studies, this article will examine trends in different packaging types.
