Current Activities and Challenges of the European Network for Inspection and Qualification (ENIQ)

In diesem Artikel werden die neusten Entwicklungen von dem Europäische Netzwerk für Inspektion und Qualifizierung (European Network for Inspection and Qualification, ENIQ) seit der Veröffentlichung eines ähnlichen Artikels in der atw Ausgabe 56, Jahrgang 2011 April/Mai beschrieben. Schwerpunkte sind die zahlreichen neue technische Fragestellungen und Themen, mit denen ENIQ-Mitglieder in naher Zukunft konfrontiert werden, und daraus resultierende Projekte sowie die neue Arbeitsgruppe für Inspektionenqualifizierungsorganisationen. ENIQ ist ein von den Betreiberfirmen von Kernenergieanlangen geführtes Netzwerk über die Betriebssicherheit und Effektivität zerstörungsfreier Prüfungsmethoden in Kernenergieanla-gen. ENIQ ist anerkannt als eines der heute weltweit führenden Netzwerke/Organisationen bzgl. Normen und Richtlinien zur Qualifizierung von Inspektionen in Kernenergieanlagen und hat 50 Dokumente zu diesem Thema verfasst, u.a. die „European Methodology for Qualification of Non-Destructive Testing", die erste Qualifizierungsmethodologie basierend auf technischer Begründung, das „European Framework Document for Risk-Informed In-Service Inspection (RI-ISI)" und 11 weiterer Leitfäden. Darüberhinaus hat ENIQ 2 Pilotstudien und eine Reihe weiterer Untersuchungen und Studien durchgeführt. 2012 erfolgte die Integration von ENIQ in NUGENIA, dem Europäischen Forschungsverbund fiir Kernenergieanlagen der 2. und 3. Generation, als 8. Themengebiet von NUGENIA. Nach der Integration aktualisierte ENIQ seine Roadmap und nahm zahlreiche neue technische Fragestellungen und Themen, die in naher Zukunft auf die ENIQ-Mitglie-der zukommen werden, in seine Roadmap auf. In 2013 erfolgte zusätzlich die Gründung einer neuen ENIQ-Arbeitsgruppe, der Arbeitsgruppe für Inspektionenqualifizierungsorganisationen (Task Group for Inspection Qualification Bodies, TGIQB), welche als Austauschforum für Inspektionenqualifizierungsorganisationen dient. ENIQ bereitet gerade neue Projekte und Studien vor und führt einige von ihnen bereits durch mit dem Ziel, Antworten und Lösungen auf die obigen Fragestellungen und Themen zu finden. Aus diesen Projekten werden neue Leitfäden und Berichte entstehen, welche es ENIQ ermöglichen, seinen Status als einer der weltweit führenden Netzwerke/Organisationen bzgl. Normen und Richtlinien zur Qualifizierung von Inspektionen in Kernenergieanlagen zu erhalten und weiter zu festigen.%This article describes the development of the European Network for Inspection and Qualification (ENIQ) since the previous presentation of the network in the 2011 April/May edition of this journal, covering mainly the new technical challenges facing the network and resulting projects as well as the establishment of the new Task Group for Inspection Qualification Bodies. ENIQ is a utility-driven network dealing with the reliability and effectiveness of non-destructive testing (NDT) for nuclear power plants (NPP). ENIQ is recognised as one of the main contributors to today's global qualification codes and guidelines for in-service inspection (ISI) and has published nearly 50 documents. Among them are the "European Methodology for Qualification of Non-Destructive Testing", the first qualification methodology based on technical justifications, the "European Framework Document for Risk-Informed In-Service Inspection (RI-ISI)", and various recommend practices. In addition ENIQ has carried out two pilot studies and a number of surveys. In 2012, ENIQ joined the European based R&D association on Gen Ⅱ & Ⅲ reactors, NUGENIA, making ENIQ its 8th technical area. Following the entry into NUGENIA, ENIQ members have updated the ENIQ roadmap and included a number of new technical challenges facing its members in the near future. Also ENIQ established a third task group in 2013, the Task Group for Inspection Qualification Bodies (TGIQB), which should serve as an exchange forum for inspection qualification bodies. ENIQ is currently preparing or performing new projects and studies to tackle these challenges and new recommended practices and reports are likely to evolve from these projects, which will enable ENIQ to maintain its role as one of the main contributors to today's global qualification codes and guidelines for ISI.
