Harbours and air quality

摘要

This special issue of Atmospheric Environment presents papers that are based on presentations given during the First International Conference on Harbours and Air Quality. The conference was held in Genoa, Italy on 15-17 June 2005. It was organized in response to the growing concern about air quality in harbours and the increase in studies devoted to this specific environmental problem.rnThe Department of Physics of the University of Genoa and the Port Authority of Genoa, Italy, with the support of EURASAP—the European Association for the Science of Air Pollution—took the initiative for this conference.
