Vietnam's energy demand continues to grow at an astounding pace of 11-13% per year, inducing worries that the country's renewable energy resources and its limited deployment capacity might not meet growingdemands. The government had already cancelled up to 500 hydro projects in the last three years, with only 3GW remaining theoretical opportunity for small scale hydro.
