New Zealand's Telecom Corporation has offered a binding bid to become a partner of Crown in the 25 remaining areas regarding its UFB (ultrafast broadband) project, and intends to reduce the size of its management team from 10 to 8. Telecom plans to split off its Chorus net- work unit to play a greater role in the initiative. In addition, it has outlined the role of its senior management, headed by CEO Paul Reynolds.
