At its heart, Vets Under Siege is a call for Americans-particularly the vast majority of us who have neither served in nor sacrificed for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan- to express collective outrage at the difficulties veterans of these current and past wars experience as they navigate, often unsuccessfully, the medical claims red tape terrain within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
