Side effects of the entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana on the predator Coccinella undecimpunctata

The effect on predators of the biopesticide based on Beauveria bassiana spores was studied. A high concentration of the pathogen showed adverse effects on the predator (Coccinella undecimpunctata) and its biological aspects: 2, 4 and 8 g/L eliminated egg deposition in treated females. Spores at 4 g/L affected significantly the longevity of adults, duration of larvae and pupal period.
