The "Kabelwerk" site is still a place of hectic building activity. The old factory buildings have not yet been renovated, a large number of the new buildings are still at the construction stage. Nevertheless, at the southern edge of the site where the first completed buildings by pool and Schwalm-Theiss & Gressenbauer stand, it has already been shown that the development of the Kabelwerk grounds could enter the annals of Viennese history.%Noch herrscht am Areal „Kabelwerk" hektischer Baustellenbetrieb. Die alten Hallen sind weiterhin unsaniert, ein Großteil der Baukörper ist derzeit im Rohbau. Dennoch zeigt sich am Südrand des Geländes mit den ersten realisierten Wohnbauten von pool und Schwalm-Theiss & Gressenbauer, dass die Bebauung der Kabelwerksgründe in die Wiener Stadtgeschichte eingehen könnte.
