Holiday accommodation 'OBENauf' in a farm of Caritas

The small village of Unternalb, which is laid out around a village green, lies in Weinviertel region. Beside the Baroque church the presbytery or priest's house -a listed building - and a number of secular buildings were erected: a former manor house for Goettweig Abbey. For around 25 years Caritas, a charitable organization, has run a farm and workshops here, in which about 60 people with disabilities work. In the 1990s a home with 39 residents was added. The place emanates peacefulness and a sense of detachment from the world.
