More and more Australian architects are looking overseas for work The UK, Far East and Middle East are enormous markets where the expertise of Australian architects is sought. With these overseas ventures comes the need to understand the local industries and methods. The Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP) in Doha is a large state of the art facility for science and technology research and development.The brief required the campus to: 1. develop and encourage the public both locally and internationally to recognise QSTP as a hub for research and commercialisation of technology 2 .respond to Qatar Foundation's aim to create a world first innovative and effective environment for research and development 3. encourage the formation and growth of knowledge-based businesses and other associated organisations within the QSTP with links to national and international educational establishments and/or centres of research.
