As I watched the John Wardle-designed Jane Foss Russell Building going up, as I walked in to the School of Architecture at the University of Sydney each week to tutor in the Sustainable Architecture studio of the Masters Program, I reflected (excuse me) that I would fail it from an environmental sustainability viewpoint if it was proposed by a student - unprotected glazed curtain walls to me seem ethically and morally unacceptable in this time.
