RESTHOUSE IN NAIKU, ISE-JINGU

摘要

This is a renovation project of the resthouse in Naiku, Ise-Jingu which was originally built in 1969. The composition of an original plan was kept and timber materials for a fireproof building were tried to be used. New materials such as timber, metal and glass were inserted into the original concrete structure, changing the relationship between internal and external spaces into "the soft boundary".
