摘要

Perovskite-type polycrystalline EuTiO_3 (ETO) nanoparticles were synthesized using the simple sol-gel technique. We investigated the magnetic properties of the as-prepared ETO nanoparticles and revealed the G-AFM phase below the Neel temperature (T_N). Furthermore, the transition from the G-AFM order to the FM order, induced by magnetic field, was also demonstrated. The optical band gap of 1.03 eV for the as-prepared ETO nanoparticles was determined from the UV-visible absorption spectra.
