摘要

Recently, we presented our results on the transmission characteristics of doubly periodic metal hole arrays.1 In this letter, we experimentally controlled the spectral characteristics of the extraordinary transmissions observed in metal hole arrays by analogy with spoof surface plasmon-polaritons (spoof SPPs). When we submitted this paper, we were not aware of previous studies of Refs. 2 and 3. These papers investigated the transmission properties of metal hole arrays with additional subwavelength hole array theoretically and demonstrated it in microwave region.
