摘要

New up-to-data methods of determination of the stress-strained state and crack resistance of pipelines developed in the Institute of Mechanics of the National Academy of Ukraine have been considered. The methods of the estimation of stress-strain state are based on calculation of the strain-hardening of the pipe material or that one of plastic indicators attached to the pipe surface. Crack resistance is estimated by the critical values of a crack length or loads using the energy-type criterion which takes into account biaxiality of the stressed state, anisotropy and viscoelasticity of material. Examples of practical usage of the mentioned methods at building and operation of the main gaspipelines are presented.
