Clean Energy for Future Generations: Editorial of the 11th International Conference on Clean Energy (ICCE-2011)

摘要

This special issue is a compilation of selected peer reviewed papers from the Proceedings of the 11th International Conference on Clean Energy (ICCE-2011). The Conference was held in Feng Chia University, Taichung, Taiwan on November 2-5, 2011, a continuation of the previous conferences held in University of Miami and in North Cyprus. This conference provided a platform for the presentation of solutions to the two important global problems facing the humankind: (a) Depletion of fossil fuels and (b) Environmental issues caused by the utilization of fossil fuels, such as the global warming, ozone layer depletion, acid rains, pollution, oil spills, etc. Scientists, engineers and other researchers from all over the world shared their ideas and presented sustainable and environmental friendly solutions to energy issues.
