Meet Me in Minneapolis: Social Statistics Section Sessions at JSM 2005

For the past several months, we've used this column to let you know about our roundtable luncheons and invited sessions for JSM 2005 as well as our preliminary plans for invited sessions for JSM 2006. Informing our membership is one of our top priorities because we want to meet you in Minneapolis and see you at the SSS-sponsored sessions and events! We figure the more you know about what your section is planning for you at the annual meetings, the more likely you are to attend. On top of that, the SSS sessions promise to have something for everyone; we don't believe that one size or one theme fits all, so we've striven for a substantive, thoughtful program with your interests in mind. To round out the information we've provided so far, this column is devoted to the topic contributed and contributed sessions we have planned for JSM 2005, and to letting you know about the SSS Business Meeting/Mixer we have organized as well.
