Online submission of abstracts for roundtables and topic-contributed and contributed presentations and posters will be open from December 1, 2008, through February 2, 2009. Sessions and papers may address the theme of JSM 2009-Statistics: From Evidence to Policy-but they do not have to. Sessions also might focus on statistical applications or the development of theory and methods. Potential authors might consider presenting papers or posters on statistical issues that are especially appropriate for the venue.
