Leading Papers Look At Teaching Bayes To Nonstatisticians

Many in the teaching profession have felt the need to provide more training in Bayesian statistics to graduate students who are not statisticians, as their academic literature has become increasingly infused with Bayesian methods. Much of this impetus comes from the graduate students, themselves, who wish to participate in the publication process using Bayes for their research, or at least wish to understand their literature more clearly. This is a difficult group. Their mathematical training is usually not great, and they are not inclined to take more classes in basic math-or any nonsubject matter.
