Section Highlights Ftc, Announces Scholarship Winners

The ASA's Section on Physical and Engineering Sciences and Section on Quality and Productivity will jointly host the 2008 Fall Technical Conference (FTC) October 9-10 at the Hilton Phoenix East/Mesa Hotel. The theme for this year's conference is "Statistics & Quality: Coming to the Table for Growth and Improvement." More than 30 tutorials and case studies will be presented in the areas of quality and statistics by speakers representing industry, government, and academia. Topics will include control charting, design of experiments, data mining, and other special topics.
