Students Win Undergraduate Research Awards

摘要

Ten North Carolina State University undergraduate students majoring in statistics applied for university-wide undergraduate research awards and won. Six of the students are participating in the NSF-sponsored Computation for Undergraduates in Statistics Program (CUSP) and two are participating in the NSF-sponsored Vertical Integration of Research and Graduate Education (VIGRE) program. The NCSU-CUSP prepares students to engage in a significant research experience and to be fluent in the languages of computing, mathematics, and statistics.
