Canadian city again welcomes AWWA annual conference

Only four other cities have hosted the AWWA annual conference more times than the Canadian city of Toronto, Ont. This year marks the fifth time that AWWA members— representing utilities, regulators, consulting engineers, manufacturers, and academia獁ill gather under the association's aegis in Toronto. The annual meeting was held there in 1907, 1929, 1941, and 1964. More than 10,000 people are expected to congregate June 23 to June 27 in Toronto to attend as many of the 14 preconference seminars, 70 technical sessions, two sports competitions, two social events, four facility tours, 10 sightseeing tours, 400 exhibits, and 200 committee meetings as they can cram into their schedules.
