Water Industry Continues to Expand Its Eco-Consciousness

Two green-focused, Chicago-area water treatment companies have joined forces, with Earthwise Environmental Inc. in Bensenville, Ill., acquiring Heisler Green of Downer's Grove, Ill. The expanded company will continue to design and implement water management treatment solutions for hospitals, schools, hotels, food processing plants, and light industrial, commercial, and public-use facilities. The products available from the two companies illustrate their environmental expertise. Earthwise Environmental recently introduced eSolutions, a patent-pending program that eliminates hazardous chemical treatments, provides significant water savings, and dramatically reduces cooling tower discharge. Heisler Green's CoolGreen is a biodegradable, biorenewable, and environmentally safe cooling water system treatment.
