It is 5:00 a.m. on a crisp Sunday morning in November, and I'm here at work writing an article to help motivate others to become more active in AWWA. Why? Well, I'm getting to that. . . . Ten years ago at an annual review, my boss said I needed to get involved in a professional organization. She gave me a list of potential organizations and the task of getting involved within the next 12 months. I threw myself into research and selected just the right group.
