The textile company which pioneered corduroy and Velveteen production in the Republic of Korea has boosted efficiency, reduced chemical usage and cut operating costs by 30% after commissioning the first Monforts Econtrol continuous dyeing range in Asia. The oil-fired range, comprising a Matex 5000 Color dyeing padder and a three-chamber Thermex hotflue unit, replaces an old pad batch system that was operating in the Taechang Enterprise Co. Ltd. plant in Yang-san, approximately 40 km from the southern city of Pusan.
