A poll of some 200 companies conducted by athletic apparel maker Converse reveals that 78% have no dress code, and 55% allow casual dress during normal business hours. For example, Burger King's Miami headquarters went casual after Hurricane Andrew forced the company to move to a temporary location—and forced employees to wear clothing salvaged from their wrecked homes.
