OCA plans summer getaway in Sandusky

The Ohio Cleaners Association (OCA) is heading to Sandusky, Ohio, Aug. 22-23 for its summer getaway at the Kalahari Resort. Kalahari Resorts bring authentic African culture to Midwestern travelers, the association says, with indoor and outdoor waterparks, spas, retail and shopping areas, multiple dining options, convention centers, and more. Sandusky's Kalahari Resort opened in 2005 and features 884 guest rooms and suites, making it the largest hotel in Ohio. It also features America's largest indoor waterpark at 173,000 sq. ft., along with the a 77,000-sq.-ft. outdoor waterpark and 95,000-sq.-ft. convention center. Additional amenities include the full-service Spa Kalahari, shopping, an indoor miniature golf course, an indoor playground, one of the largest arcades in Ohio, a fitness center and eight on-site dining options.
