The market demand of Ethylene (C2H4) and propylene (C3H6)rnconstantly grows with 4-6% annual growth rate. C2H4 and C3H6rnmainly produce from steam cracking and FCC unit in petrochemicalrnindustry. However, the production of C2H4 and C3H6 from thesernunits is limited due to the shortage of high quality naphtha.rnMethanol transformation to olefins (MTO) has attracted greatrnattention because it is an effective route of C2H4 and C3H6 producedrnfrom various alternative sources to oil (e.g. natural gas, coal orrnbiomass) 1. Although the high yield of C2H4 and C3H6 is obtained inrnMTO process, the catalyst undergoes the fast deactivation by cokerndeposition and a large amount of energy is consumed 1. Catalyticrncracking of C4 hydrocarbon is also considered a complementaryrnroute to produce C2H4 and C3H6rn2. Nevertheless, it is challenge tornobtain the high yield of C2H4 and C3H6 and the high conversion ofrnbutanes in this process 2. Therefore, the development of newrncatalytic process is important to increase the production of C2H4 andrnC3H6.
