摘要

To comparatively study adsorption capacity of adsorbents for thi- ophene was carried out in this paper. The adsorption mechanism was also discussed. Alumina, Y zeolite and modified zeolites were used to remove thiophene in simulate gasoline. The experiment results sh-owed that the adsorbents have better desulfurization performance when they have more number of weak acid sites. The Y zeolite was found to be the best adsorbent to remove thiophene. Fe(NO3)3 showed the best performance in modifying zeolites by metal nitrat- es.The electric field intensity was considered to be the important factor for adsorption of thiophene. It revealed that desulfurization capacity on adsorbent was closely related with acid site of adsorbe- nts.
