The 2012 edition of That Takes the Cake, held February 25 and 26 at the North Austin Event Center in Austin, TX, has grown substantially in its eight years. From a small local event with perhaps 100 cakes on display to an event that can fill a 60,000 sq. ft. space to accommodate over 40 vendors, 400 cakes, 2,000 visitors and dozens of classes-That Takes the Cake has developed into a national sugar art showcase.
