I purchased the original Fabric Effects in Sugar many years ago and although I read the book, I never seemed to have the time to use it. Gary Chapman has re-released the book, changing the title slightly to Fabric Effects in Sugar, First Steps and Basic Skills. When comparing the two versions, they both contain the same projects, fabric effects and hints, but the most notable difference is the inclusion in the newer release of the templates for each fabric technique and instructions on how to attach the fabric flowers to the cake.
