Brazilian Boeing Loaf

Dumont airport. The aircraft flew right past the iconic Sugar Loaf and I could not miss it for a stunning photo with a dramatic background. Using a Canon 200-400 lens with the built-in 1.4 extender engaged, resulting in a 560mm lens, I was able to shoot the plane with its amazing backdrop. I used a Canon 5D MKIII, 1/1000 shutter speed, lens set at F10 and an ISO of 400. Locals told me that, because of the unusual wind direction, that day the plane had made this approach they don't see very often. I thought it was quite unique. Even though I love shooting planes, I make a living out of shooting boats!"
