THIS 2011-BUILT Airbus A330-200, OE-IKY (c 1256), was pictured landing at Dusseldorf from Abu Dhabi on October 10 wearing the full livery of Eritrean Airlines. However, despite its new scheme, it is reported that the Pratt & Whitney PW4000-powered widebody will not be taken up by the East African firm but instead will go to Moscow's Nordwind Airlines, on lease from Air Lease Corporation. While at Dusseldorf, the A330 underwent preparatory maintenance by locally based MRO firm, Nayak-LM Germany GmbH, ahead of delivery to Russia.
