摘要

This paper presents angle recognition for line-laser 3D scanners. Normally, 3D scanning systems that can get 360 degree surface data for given three-dimensional objects require a rotational motor and its controlling device. Thus, using a complicated device keeps the 3D scanning systems to be high-cost and the scanning speed to be very slow. To overcome these problems, the proposed method employs tag detection for angle recognition to replace a high-cost motor for controlling angles. Thus, our method needs lower cost than the conventional method. Also, the total scanning time decreases. The experimental result shows the usability of the proposed method.
