Hantemp Controls has unveiled its newest product for industrial and commercial refrigeration control. The SCV Weld In-Line Check Valve is used to accurately monitor direction of flow and pressure in liquid, suction, and hot gas lines. It is designed for welding direcdy in-line via socket or butt weld end connections and is available for pipe connection sizes 3/4" to 1 1/4". Sizes 3/8" to 1 3/8" are also available as Outside Diameter Soldering (ODS) connections for copper tubing. The SCV Weld In-Line Check Valve features a durable stainless steel body, spring and lapped stainless-to-stainless seating mechanism which allows for weld in-line installation without disassembly. The valve tested for a safe working pressure of 2000 psig (138 bar), and is approved for compatibility with all modern refrigerants including ammonia, CO2, halocarbons, as well as secondary refrigerants.
