Revenue to pounce on amnesty dodgers

Revenue & Customs intends to come down hard on offshore bank account holders who fail to take advantage of its amnesty for tax dodgers. As advisers prepared for a last minute rush from taxpayers wanting to come clean over their offshore accounts ahead of the 22 June deadline, the Revenue warned it would demand 'hefty penalties'from those who failed to disclose unpaid tax.
