From the Brussels perspective, 2011 will be a key year in terms of EU policy issues. And the ICAEW will have its work cut out contributing to the various debates. The final weeks of 2010 saw an intense work programme on audit matters for the institute, many stakeholders and other professional bodies, as well as firms across Europe - and indeed beyond. But the December deadline for responses to the audit green paper was merely the end of the beginning of the process.
