FAREPACK CASE GOES TO FRC TRIBUNAL

Big Four auditor Ernst & Young, together with one of its former partners, is to face a disciplinary tribunal following an investigation by the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) over its work at failed Christmas club operator Farepak. The move follows a failed attempt by the government's Insolvency Service to prosecute nine directors of the failed company and its parent company European Home Retail earlier this year.
