摘要

A temporary cathedral built as a replacement for Cantebury's former cathedral destroyed by an earthquake that struck the city in 2011.A polycarbonate roof is placed over a structure comprised of 98 non-flammable cardboard tubes measuring　16.5～20m in length and 600mm in diameter, that are assembled adjusting their angle to adhere to the geometries of the surface area and elevation of the original cathedral. With a capacity of 700 seats, various events are scheduled to take place, it becoming a new symbol of disaster relief reconstruction.
