Associations Between Improved Water Supply and Sanitation Usage andChildhood Diarrhea in Ethiopia: An Analysis of the 2016 Demographic and HealthSurvey

Diarrheal disease is one of the leading causes of death in children under theage of 5. Access to and use of improved water and sanitation services isassociated with this, but there is little country-level evidence for thisrelationship in Ethiopia. Therefore, associations between improved watersupply and sanitation usage and childhood diarrhea in Ethiopia have beenidentified as the objective of this study.
