There has been emerging discussion of the utility of screening tools to assess social determinants of health (SDOH)-related need in clinical practice. Adolescent-led families are particularly vulnerable to SDOH, yet the relevance of SDOH screening in this population remains relatively unstudied. This initiative sought to determine if screening tools in a clinic for adolescent-led families would effectively detect SDOH-related needs, and if adolescent parents were receptive to such screening.
