In the solvated title complex, [Ni(C46H47N6O2)]ClO4·2CH4O, the coordination sphere around the Ni^II ion can be described as distorted cis-NiO2N4 octa­hedral defined by two phenolate O atoms and four N atoms from the hexa­dentate ligand. An intra­molecular bifurcated N—H⋯(N,O) hydrogen bond helps to establish the conformation of the complex mol­ecule. In the crystal, the components are connected by O—H⋯O and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
